2: Introduction

2.1 Thank you for joining the RikoPets Community. By joining the RikoPets Community, you here forth state that you have read and will abide by the RikoPets Terms and Conditions outlined in this contract, which outlines your rights and boundaries on rikopets.com and using materials related to or owned by the RikoPets team.

2.2 Basically this terms and conditions states in a summed up version is do not steal materials from the site or use with out permission, and you must use all items on the site as they were intended to be used, and on RikoMail and the Forums, excessive swearing and User Harassment or you will get either frozen or have your account terminated permanently.

3: Main Site

3.1 The main site (not including the Public Domains) terms will be outlined in this chapter of the terms and conditions.

3.2 The site, database, and use of collected information is controlled by the RikoPets administrative Team and must comply with the Rules, Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

3.3 All images of Pets, Items, Maps, icons, characters, RP, and layouts are owned by RikoPets, and are not to be used without permission anywhere unless by a user on rikopets.com, all names of pets and characters are trademarked by RikoPets, if content stealing has been detected you will have your account terminated and be penalized to the full extent of the International Internet Copyright Law.

3.4 RP (RikoPoints) is the currency of RikoPets, and should not be abused by certain net monetary enhancement programs, participation in this or otherwise abusing the RP system will be terminated on first offence, see Chapter 1.7.

3.5 All art submitted directly or via forum by RikoPets staff is no longer property of the original artist but becomes property of RikoPets, if an image made by a user is posted on the forums or any public domain, the Rikopets team may ask permission to use this artwork how ever they please, re-create it or otherwise use it. If permission is granted, RikoPets promises to denote who the origonal author is. The latter part does not apply to art posted by ex-staff members when they were part of the staff team.

3.6 Information collected by RikoPets will only be released if release of information is called for to some how aid government investigation

4: Public Domains (Forums, Profiles, User Sites, Blogs and RikoMail)

4.1 This area of the terms will outline the Public domains of RikoPets, and their individual rights, properties and respect codes, THIS IS NOT A RULES SECTION.

4.2 Please do not use Foul, sexist, racist, anti-Semitic or otherwise Harassing language on the Public domains, it is offensive to other people and will get you penalized (see Chapter 5) depending on the severity.

4.3 The Public domains are a public place, and are subject to Trade Mark, Copyright and Intellectual Property Laws, You may not use materials that are not your own unless you have permission from the author and credit given, if you do not, the author may demand the art or quote removed and penalties applied.

4.4 It is your right as a RikoPets member to use RikoPets images and names on your RikoPets public domain Share, but may not be used elsewhere with out permission from the administration team.

4.5 Even though this is a public domain, you May Not use it to call out against Members or Ethnic Groups, and you will be penalized heavily depending how severe the offence is, If an Admin or Moderator is called out against in this sense for a decision they made your account will be penalized.

4.6 Regarding this is a Public Domain Flaming (Heavily insulting someone for their ideas or preferences) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

4.7 Advertisement of any third party web-site, even with counsel from the other party is not allowed in any form, unless cleared with administration.

4.8Any information that is not required to be colleceted by RikoPets staff which is disclosed on the public domains is not the resposibilty of RikoPets.

4.9 We recognize that we have limited control of what people put into thier public domain, but the staff will try thier hardest to keep it within the parameters listed on the site's Terms and Condtions and the site's rules and penalize the members who infract the rules with thier public domains accordingly.

5. Penalties

5.1 In this section, Possible Penalties will be outlined, please note that Penalties may only be overridden if an Admin decides the penalty is unjust, but otherwise no Petitioning. Also a report will not always be followed through as it is the Mod/ Admin team that has the final call.

5.2 Warnings: Warnings may be issued on minor offences, and will be logged against the user, if warnings build up for the same area a freezing may be applicable.

5.3 Temperary Termination or Account Freezing ( See Chapter 1.6): If an account is Frozen it may not enter the site and loses all rights as a RikoPets member for a set period of time. A member may not return to the site during this time, and if they are caught with multiple accounts, all accounts will be terminated.

5.4 Account Termination (Cont. 1.7): As Stated in Chapter 1.7 if your account is terminated you lose all rights as a RikoPets Member, but you must abide to this clause. You may not return to the site without permission of an Admin, if permission is granted, your old account will be deleted and you will be freed of this clause. If caught on the site with a second account your second account will be terminated.

6. Staff clause

6.1 A staff member is any user of the RikoPets community that has been recognized by the administrative team to help work for RikoPets and have benefits of a staff member.

6.2 A staff member recognizes that they may only use their powers to help the site and cannot use them to abuse the site in any way, a staff member caught abusing their powers will be penalized depending how severe the offence is.

6.3 A staff member recognizes that their position may be revoked at any time.
